Special Issue in Land (Q1):

Associated with the 4th European Rural Geographies Conference, we will have a special volume by Land (MDPI) with a theme and title to be defined in due course.

This special edition aims to disseminate studies that analyse aspects associated with territorial resilience and sustainability in rural areas, in addition to detailing strategic regional development scenarios and adaptation paths to climate change. It also accepts analyses that focus on public landscape planning policies, or those associated with changes in land use and their consequences, in addition to identifying critical factors connected to the sustainability of territories.

We therefore await contributions from scientists, specialists and professionals in Geography, Economy, Environmental and social challenges, Tourism, Rural and urban Landscape Planning, Management and Changes in Land Use or Climate Change, among other topics.

Deadline: 30 September 2026

Language: English.
