Workshop Registration
Register for the workshop “Low Traffic–High Value. Touristic Potential Atlas of Low Traffic Railway Lines in Rural Areas (in Spain)”, taking place on 23 June 2026, from 11:30 to 13:00.
This workshop is set within the context of the TOUR&RAIL project, an Erasmus+ Higher Education Cooperation Partnership focused on sustainable tourism and the ecological transition of rural areas through low-traffic European rail lines.

As part of Rural Geo 2026, participants may register for one of the optional activities scheduled for 24 June 2026. Please select only one option.
Visit to the Port Wine Cellars — Vila Nova de Gaia
The Port Wine Cellars are a key historical, economic, and cultural heritage site linking the Douro region with Vila Nova de Gaia. The visit will take place at A.A. Ferreira S.A., founded in 1751 and internationally recognised for the quality and tradition of its wines.

Guided Tour — Hidden Porto
A walk through Porto’s older quarters, exploring medieval walls, the former Jewish quarter, and panoramic viewpoints over the Douro River.

A walking tour through Porto’s most emblematic streets and riverside areas, from the Cathedral and São Bento Station to the Ribeira waterfront and the city’s UNESCO-listed heritage.
